The same steps should be followed for the rear brake hose replacement. It is important to check that the suspension or steering components do not make contact with the hose, and the brake operation should be carefully tested before resuming normal operation. When replacing metal brake lines, it is crucial to use the correct parts and not copper tubing. Prefabricated brake lines with flared tube ends and installed fittings can be bent to the proper shapes using a tubing bender. The new line should be well supported in the brackets and have sufficient clearance between moving or hot components. The fittings should be tightened securely. After installation, the master cylinder fluid level should be checked and fluid should be added if necessary.
