- Q:I'm almost ready to order but I need questions as to the part. Does this part come with a key? Does part need to be programed to my vehicle? My 2012 Ram 1500ST 4.7 is a 2 door standard truck that does not use remote to open doors or start engine. It is a standard truck with key entry to unlock doors and key in the ignition to start. Will this Node work if I order? My issue with existing Node is I turn key on to start and it shuts off after start. If I jiggle key or push key in firmly and hold key it will remain started but at times if I hit a bump on the road engine will shut off. Posted by Customer: 2012 Ram 1500
