- Q: How to remove and install the exhaust manifold in four cylinder engine on Chrysler 200?A:The exhaust manifold is located at the right side of the cylinder head for the 207 on the 2014 and earlier models, while it is located at the left side of the cylinder head for the 207 on the 2015 and later models. For the removal of the exhaust manifold, on 2014 and earlier models, it is necessary to raise the car and secure it on jackstands, the exhaust pipe should be disconnected from the manifold with a note that on some models, the exhaust system may have to be removed for clearance purposes. In the next step, take out the heat shield and manifold brace and pull off the connector for oxygen sensor; also unbolt the mounting bolts for the removal of the manifold and the old gasket along with it.
