Lift the vehicle and support with jackstands. Drain engine oil and remove oil filter. Drain coolant. Disconnect coolant lines from oil cooler, placing a drain pan below. Remove the union bolt and detach oil cooler from oil filter adapter. Install a new O-ring on the oil cooler. Reinstall in reverse order, aligning the adapter tab with the cooler notch. Tighten the union bolt. Reconnect coolant lines. Refill and bleed cooling system, refill oil, then start engine and check for leaks and gauge function.

To install place the flat side of the oil cooler to the oil filter adapter and apply clean engine oil and tighten the fitting to the recommended torque. Change an oil filter and replace the lost oil and then replace the lost coolant in the car's engine. Last, take to full operational temperature, while doing so check and ensure no leakages are present.
