Chrysler Town & Country Common Problems & Maintenance Tips

According to the survey conducted to Chrysler Town & Country vehicle owners, we have received some complaints. Here we listed are the most common ones about Chrysler Town & Country:
First, rack & pinion whining, power steering leaks. Town & Country vehicle owners found that power steering fluid dripping from the vehicle and there was sudden drop in fluids. At the same time, the steering wheel became too shaky, loose and vibrating to turn as well as the steering wandered. At last, a clunking or whining sound got louder especially while driving in rough terrain. Actually, it is the steering system that goes wrong. You can check if the power steering hose is going bad or control arm bushing is broken or tie rod end is failing once similar situations occur.
Second, braking system problem. Drivers said the brake pedal in Town & Country became abnormally soft or mushy sometimes even slowly sunk to the ground when it was depressed. And the brake response became poorer, thus the vehicle was harder to stop. Also visible leaking brake fluids can be found. This system is vital for your safety, so if any above signs happen, you can have an inspection on wheel cylinder first.
Wiper blade is a genius invention in sweeping obstacles that stop driver's vision. While if the wiper arm could not work well, so could not wiper blade. So if paint is flaking from the wiper arm or wiper blade chatters or could not contact the windshield as well as streaking found on it, you should replace the wiper arm.
